Be advised that the Saturday, April 12 women's lacrosse game between Westfield State and Salem State has been postponed due to snow.

Westfield State senior midfielder Mykenzie Black (Hopedale, Mass.) recorded three goals and two assists but a late fourth quarter surge from Springfield College resulted in an 18-11 Owls defeat in a non-conference road game on Thursday night.

Westfield State women’s lacrosse players Kylie Buchanan (Westfield, Mass.) and Kara Banagan (Niskayuna, N.Y.), headline the MASCAC Players of the Week honors.

Westfield State grad student Kylie Buchanan (Westfield, Mass.) scored three goals including both fourth quarter markers and Kara Banagan (Niskayuna, N.Y.) made a season-high 14 saves to lead the Owls past Bridgewater State 8-6 in a Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference game from Bridgewater, Mass. on Friday night.

Emma Prattson finished with five goals and two assists to lead the Owls.

Westfield State grad student Kylie Buchanan (Westfield, Mass.) scored a game-high four goals as the Owls soared past Mass. Maritime Academy in the MASCAC opener from Alumni Field in Westfield, Mass. on Friday night.

The women’s lacrosse game versus Mass. Maritime has been moved to Friday at 7:00 P.M. while both baseball and softball doubleheaders against Mass. Maritime have been moved up to 11:30 A.M. start times.

Connecticut College junior attacker Kate Coughlin (Reading, Mass.) scored a game-high four goals to lead the Camels past Westfield State 18-7 in a non-conference game from Alumni Field in Westfield, Mass.

Westfield State senior attacker Natalie DeMaio (Westwood, Mass.) has been named the MASCAC Offensive Player of the Week following standout performances throughout the week that helped lead the Owls to a 2-1 record.

Westfield State seniors’ Natalie DeMaio (Westwood, Mass.) and Emma Prattson (Tolland, Conn.) reached significant career milestones on Sunday afternoon with DeMaio topping the 200-career point mark while Prattson reached 100 career assists during the Owls loss to #16 Amherst.

The Westfield State women’s lacrosse team will host Western New England University in a non-conference game from Alumni Field on Thursday at 5:00 P.M. in a recently added game to the 2025 regular season schedule.
