Women's Volleyball Begins Title Quest Against Worcester
As the regular season wrapped up, the Westfield State women’s volleyball team was selected the number one-seed heading into the conference tournament. On Thursday, November 14, the Owls will take on the fifth-seeded Worcester State Lancers in the semifinals of the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference playoffs.

Westfield State senior middle blocker Sarah Bingham (Reno, Nev.) continued her incredible defensive efforts this season as she was named the Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week after the Owls locked up the MASCAC regular season title this past week.

Junior Emma Nihill (Chandler, Ariz.) registered a game-high nine kills and added two block assists to lead Westfield State to a sweep over Fitchburg State (25-14, 25-14, 25-12) in the MASCAC regular season finale from the Woodward Center in Westfield, Mass.
