Keene State scored a pair of goals in a 2-minute span in the fourth quarter to lift the Keene State Owls to a 4-2 field hockey win over Westfield State in Keene, N.H., on Tuesday night.
Westfield leveled the game at 2-2 on Meredith Higgins' goal off of a feed from Sadie Stauffer 2:33 into the fourth quarter.
The tie game was short-lived, as Grace Bazin netted her second goal of the game less than two minutes later with an assist from Kalina Piasecki.
Piasecki added an insurance goal two minutes later to help Keene to salt the game away.
Keene outshot Westfield 26-6, and held an 8-2 advantage in penalty corners.
Westfield got eight saves from Emma Gniadek, while Keene goalkeeper Clara Gorman made three saves.
