Westfield's number 1 player Dorothy Duval is teeing off at 12:09 pm along with Gordon's number 1 in Katherine Maloney and Keene's number 2 Jodi Mercier to get the match rolling.
Women's volleyball kicks off the home stand on campus this weekend as they face Rhode Island College for the home opener. Next on the home docket Saturday is field hockey as they take on UMass-Dartmouth at noon on Alumni Field. The Owls are coming off a hard fought 4-1 victory of Nichols College in their opening weekend Caryl Newhof tournament at Smith College. Westfield saw a clean sweep last week in Player of the Week honors for field hockey as Sadie Stauffer won Offensive Player of the Week, Jordan Conrad for Defensive Player of the Week, and Annalise Lopes for Rookie of the Week. This experienced team will look for a way to extend their momentum into a streak.
The last of the home games Saturday is the women's soccer team as they take on Southern Maine on Alumni Field at 3 P.M. This is the first game back in the Northeast as the Owls traveled to Tennessee for the Maryville College Fall Women's Classic, where they tied both matches. Westfield will try to have both of their players of the week, Julia Robak and Kylie Tomasetti, to help the Owls get in the win column for the home opener.
