WESTFIELD, Mass. – Westfield State sophomore pitcher Emily Arredono (Woburn, Mass.) tossed a perfect game in game 1, and the Owls got a grand slam home run from sophomore Sarah Meunier (Frontier/Deerfield, Mass.) in game 2 as the Owls swept a MASCAC softball doubleheader from Mass Maritime Academy by scores of 16-0 and 11-1.

Owls Explode For 33 Hits In Doubleheader Sweep Over Salem

SALEM, MASS. – Senior Bri Tortora (Worcester, Mass.) wrapped out five hits on the day, as the Westfield State University softball team swept a MASCAC doubleheader from Salem State University on Saturday afternoon.

Karly Mastello and Sarah Meunier rapped out three hits each in game one for Westfield State, as the Owls split a softball doubleheader with MCLA.   Westfield won game 1 by an 8-4 final, but the Trailblazers rallied late to win game-two by a 5-1 score.
