Winslow Named MASCAC Rookie of the Week
Westfield State first-year goalie Aiden Winslow (Jacksonville, Fla.) earned his third MASCAC Rookie of the Week honors this season for his efforts this past week for the Owls.
WESTFIELD, Mass. – Westfield State first-year goalie Aiden Winslow (Jacksonville, Fla.) earned his third MASCAC Rookie of the Week honors this season for his efforts this past week for the Owls.
Winslow accumulated 77 saves, a 2.50 GAA and a .939 save percentage over the past week. Winslow had 45 saves against the top team in the conference, Plymouth State, on Thursday night. He also captured a 32-save win against the Rams on Saturday.
Winslow leads the league in save percentage as he has a season average of .934 and he is third in goals against average with a GAA of 2.43, and is fourth in total saves with 497.
Winslow and the Owls will look to build off the Framingham State win and will host Rivier on Thursday, February 13 with puck drop at 7:35 pm at the Amelia Park Arena.
