WESTFIELD, Mass. — Sam Palmer (Medfield, Mass.) won the MASCAC Player of the Week for his performance this past weekend as the Owls swept a doubleheader from Trinity.
Palmer helped the Owls score 45 runs on Saturday in a double header at Trinity College (Conn.) as he hit .500 for the day in ten at-bats. Palmer five hits led to eight RBI's and five runs scored as he knocked a triple and notched a homer on top of it, which accumulated a 1.300 slugging percentage on the day. Palmer made some noise on the bases as he nabbed three steals from the Bantams.
