Women’s Track and Field Places Eight on MASCAC All-Conference Team
After winning the 2025 MASCAC Championship title, the Westfield State women’s track and field team placed eight athletes on the All-Conference team.
WESTFIELD, Mass. – After winning the 2025 MASCAC Championship title, the Westfield State women's track and field team placed eight athletes on the All-Conference team.
The Owls won five individual events and also captured one relay race at the conference championship meet from Bridgewater State this past Friday.
Earning individual event honors were juniors' Eliza Lee (Walpole, Mass.), Emily Ottomaniello (Agawam, Mass.) and Julianne Kelly (Natick, Mass.) along with senior Bronwyn Pinsly (Las Vegas, Nev.).
Lee won two events, the 400-meter hurdles (1:06.09) and the triple jump (11.27m) and scored 54 points for the Owls on the afternoon. Kelly, Ottomaniello, and Pinsly were all repeat champions in their events with Kelly winning the 3,000 steeplechase (12:27.31), Ottomaniello claiming the pole vault (1.99m) and Pinsly securing all-conference honors in the discus (38.83m).
Along with the individual wins, the Owls 4x800 relay team of Molly Lenehan (Newington, Conn.), Molly Kennedy (West Springfield, Mass.), Tealei Chandonnet (Dracut, Mass.), and Reese Stevens (Agawam, Mass.) crossed the tape with at a time-winning 10:11.87.
The Owls claimed their second consecutive MASCAC Outdoor Championship with a total of 213 points.
