Gray, Moussette Named First-Team All-Conference

Westfield, Mass. – Westfield State senior point guard Chelsea Moussette (Southampton, Mass) and junior forward Melissa Gray (Peabody, Mass) were both awarded Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference All-Conference first team honors, which was voted on by the seven coaches around the conference.

Moussette averaged 11.8 points a game for the Owls. She made 38.1 percent of her field goals, 30 percent of her 3 point shots and 67 percent of her free throw shots. Overall Moussette had 308 points for the Owls this season, 93 steals and 73 rebounds. 

Moussette ranked first in the conference for assists (6.7 per game), seventh for 3 pointers per game, and tenth for points per game. 

Gray earned all conference for the second time, as she was a second team selection in 2019. Gray averaged 21 points per game while shooting 37.1 in three point percentage and 75.3 percent for free throws. Gray scored 546 points this season which helped her get to an overall total of 1,297 points for her career so far, good for ninth place on the Owls all-time scoring list.

Gray was first in the conference for points per game, three-pointers per game, and field goals per game.

The Owls ended their season 13-13 overall, and 10-2 in the conference, advancing to the MASCAC semifinals.
