WESTFIELD, Mass. – Westfield State grad student Shane Clark (Bellows Falls, Vt.) placed seventh in javelin to earn All-New England honors at the New England Division III track and field championships at Mount Holyoke College on Friday.
Clark had a season-best toss of 56.05 meters.
Other results included Eliza Lee (Walpole, Mass.) placing 13th in the long jump with mark of 5.13 meters, and Delaney Parker (Orange, Mass.) finishing 12th in 100 meter qualifying heats with a personal best time of 12.62 seconds.
Rebecca Patel (Belchertown, Mass.) and Julianne Kelly (Natick, Mass) finished 16th and 17th in the 10,000 meters, with Patel finishing in 40:01 and Kelly 22 seconds behind in a personal best time.
Colby Ranck (Chicopee, Mass.) placed 20th in the men's long jump with a leap of 6.17 meters.
Action at the meet continues on Saturday.
