Caglianone, Trumbley Sign With The SPHL's Evansville Thunderbolts

WESTFIELD, Mass. -- Westfield State University seniors Lenny Caglianone (Matawan, N.J.) and Wyatt Trumbley (Campbell River, B.C.) have both signed professional contracts with the Evansville Thunderbolts of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL).

Both players made their debut on Friday March 15 at the Ford Center in Evansville, Ind. in a 7-5 win over the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs. 

Caglianone played four years for the Owls as one of the top offensive-defensmen in the conference and was named team captain for this past season. Trumbley also put in four years as one of the Owls' top shut-down defenders.

The Southern Professional Hockey League is a professional hockey league based out of Huntersville, North Carolina. The teams are mainly located in the southeastern United States as well as Illinois and Indiana.
