O’Sullivan, Johnson, Buckley Earn MASCAC Honors

Westfield State women's cross country runners' Amy O'Sullivan (Greenfield, Mass.) and Kerin Johnson (Weymouth, Mass.) and men's cross country runner Will Buckley (Plymouth, Mass.) took home MASCAC weekly honors after the Keene Alumni Invitational meet on Saturday. O'Sullivan earned women's cross country runner of the week after placing first in the two-mile run with a time of 11:08. Johnson received the women's cross country rookie of the week as she placed 31st in the two mile. Together, O'Sullivan and Johnson led the Owls to a fourth place finish.

On the men's side, Buckley took home the MASCAC rookie of the week as he placed ninth in the 5k race. He was the first Owl to finish the race and was a key contributor to the teams' third place finish overall. 

Both teams will compete at the Trinity Invitational in Hartford, Conn. this upcoming Saturday.
