O'Sullvan Second, Leads Owls to Fourth Place at Keene Invite

Westfield State sophomore Amy O'Sullivan (Greenfield, Mass.)  continued a strong fall season with a second-place finish at the Keene State Invitational meet in New Hampshire on Saturday.

O'Sullivan traversed the five-kilometer course in 18:15, nine seconds behind the winner, Keene State's Lauren Perkowski.

Westfield State freshman Grace Phair (Stockbridge, Mass./Monument Mtn.)took fifth in 18:23, with Andrea Noland (Kingston, Mass./Silver Lake) 23rd in 19:20.

Westfield finished fourth among 19 teams in the team results with 131 points.   Williams scored 37 points to win, followed by Wellesley and Brandeis.

Westfield will be back in action next Saturday, as the Owls host the James Earley Invitational at Stanley Park in Westfield.
