WESTFIELD, Mass. – Westfield State women's volleyball slipped to 0-9 on the season with a 3-0 loss at Worcester State in the MASCAC opener for both teams.

The Lancers prevailed by games scores of 25-14, 25-19, and 25-21.

Lelle Tyler powered the Lancers with 11 kills in the match.

Westfield was led by six kills each from Bridgette McAndrews (Longmeadow, Mass.) and Ashley Crowley (Billerica, Mass.).

The Owls are now 0-9 overall and 0-1 in the MASCAC, while Worcester is now 1-7, 1-0 MASCAC.

Westfield will host Western New England University tomorrow in a non-conference match at the Woodward Center at 6:00 p.m.
