Westfield State's Eliza Lee doubled up in winning the long jump and the triple jump to highlight the Owls efforts at the outdoor season-opening Elmer J. Swanson Invitation at Wesleyan College in Middletown, Conn. on Saturday.

On a day of rainy and cold weather, Lee posted a mark of 10.73 meters in the triple jump, and 5.25 meters in the long jump.

Emily Ottomaniello placed second in the high jump, clearing 1.42 meters.   She was also part of the Owls 4x100 relay unit that placed second with a time of 52.28, partnering with Delaney Parker, Paige Moroney and Anjelina Lubarsky 

Parker was fourth in 13.22 in the 100, with Moroney fifth in 13.39.

12 teams competed at the meet.   Westfield will be back in action next Saturday at the Corsair Classic at UMass-Dartmouth.
