WESTFIELD, Mass. – Senior Amy O'Sullivan (Greenfield, Mass.) and first-year Vicky Marin (Greenfield, Mass.) were both honored as members of the Division III U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Region list.

O'Sullivan was recognized for her excellence in the 5,000 meters. She recorded a personal best time of 17:26.94 at the Tufts National Qualifying Meet. O'Sullivan had first place finishes in this event at the 2022 MASCAC Championship, and the Tufts Branwen Smith-King Invitational. She concluded her season by placing 18th in the 5,000 meters at the NCAA Division III championship with a time of 18:03.20.

Marin was honored for her performance in the 60-meter hurdles. She placed a season high time of 9.44 for this event at the Pre-Post Season Meet at Wheaton College, and a time of 9.51 in the 2022 MASCAC Championship, both were good for second place. Marin also had a first-place finish in the 55-meter hurdles at the Coast Guard Academy Winter Invitational with a time of 9.33.

Westfield State begins the outdoor track and field season starting next Saturday, March 26, as the Owls travel to Wesleyan for the Wesleyan Spring Classic in Middletown, Connecticut.
