Victoria Marin won the long jump to highlight the performances by the Westfield State women's track and field team at the Wheaton College Pre Post Season Invitational meet on Saturday in Norton, Mass.

Marin leapt 5.11 meters to best the nine-competitor field.   Marin also took home second-place honors in the high jump at 1.61 meters, and second in the 60 hurdles at 9.44 seconds.

Senior Kayla Whitcomb finished fifth in the mile with a time of 5:27.66.

No team scores were posted at the meet.

Westfield will send its qualified athletes to the New England Division III Championships at Middlebury College next Friday and Saturday.
