WESTFIELD, MA – Westfield State University senior Lauren Gilderdale (Great Barrington, MA) was awarded Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletics Conference Field Athlete of the Week on March 3, and posted a pair of top five finishes at the New England Division III Championships to earn All-New England honors.

Gilderdale had a top toss in the weight throw at 16.81m (55' 02.00") to place second and took fourth place in the shot put with a top heave of 12.25m (40' 02.25").

Lauren will be competing in the Last Chance track and field meet on Saturday, March 7 at Tufts University.
