Seniors Lexi Popp and Kerri Long both earned All-New England honors in the 400 hurdles as the Westfield State women competed at the New England Division III Championships on Friday and Saturday at Williams College.
Popp placed second in the 400 hurdles in 1:01.64, with Long following in sixth in 1:04.64.
The Owls also got an All-New England performance from Lauren Gilderdale in the discus, as she placed fifth with a toss of 37.63 meters (123'-05").
The top eight finishers in each event and relays earn All-New England Honors.
The Owl women placed 17th as a team out of 34 scoring teams at the meet.
Westfield's qualified athletes will compete at the NEICAAA (All-Division All-New England) Championship meet next weekend at Southern Connecticut State.
