14 Owl Swimmers Named to NEISDA All-Academic Team

WESTFIELD, Mass.  – Westfield State University women's swimming and diving placed 14 student athletes on the New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Association (NEISDA) 2020 Spring All-Academic Team.

Highlighted by NEISDA Champion Kelsey Johnstone, and "29 Who Shine" recipient Carly Thibodeau, the Owls' team posted a composite 3.68 GPA in the spring semester.

In order for a swimmer or diver to make the All-Academic Team, the student-athlete must have a semester GPA of 3.50 or higher.

A total of 266 athletes from the NEISDA's 21 member women's teams, and 15 member men's squads.
