Westfield, Mass. – The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has named the Westfield State University women's swimming and diving team as a member of the Scholar All-America Team for the Fall 2019 semester. 

Coached by David Laing, the women's swimming and diving team posted a collective 3.33 GPA, well-above the 3.0 mark required to qualify for the award. The Owls are one of 15 programs for both men and women's swimming and diving from the New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Association that were honored. 

A record 762 programs and 480 institutions were selected by the CSCAA nationwide that represent 17,685 student-athletes. 

The Owls are coming off a third-place finish at the Little East Conference championships meet at UMass-Dartmouth. Next up will be the New England Championships starting Thursday February 13.
