CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- Senior Monique Groux (Agawam, Mass.) won the women's one-meter diving finals on Saturday, as the Westfield State women's swimming and diving team now sits in sixth place after two days at the NEISDA Division III Championships.
Groux notched a score of 373.05, just edging out Regis' Elisabeth McQuaid who posted a 367.40.
Junior Kelsey Johnstone (Westfield/Southwick, Mass) broke her own school record in the 100 yd. breastroke with a time of 1:06.50.
Senior Shannon Fitzsimmons (Andover, Mass.) added a fifth place finish in the 400 yd. IM, and Kait Kelly (Minnechaug/Hampden, Mass.) placed eighth in the 100 yd. backstroke.
