WESTFIELD, Mass. – For the second time this season, first-year attacker Willow Romo (Marlboro, Vt.) was named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week for her performance for the Owls in a pair of conference victories.

Romo scored four goals with three ground balls across two games. She netted three goals and three ground balls in a 21-6 win over Fitchburg State, then added a goal in the Owls 16-7 victory over Worcester State.

On the season, Romo has collected ten goals for an Owls team that currently has 11 different players that have registered ten or more points on the year.

Westfield State (10-6 overall, 5-0 MASCAC) has just one regular season game remaining which will serve as the season's most pivotal game as the Owls host Framingham State, who have yet to lose in the league, entering the final week with a 4-0 mark in the conference. The two teams met in the MASCAC Championship game last season, and will square off from Alumni Field on the Owls Senior Day on Saturday at 7:00 P.M. with the league's regular season title and top overall seed in the MASCAC Tournament on the line.
