Westfield State's Jordan Eddy was the medalist as the Owls played to a 474-474 tie with Keene State in a NCAA Division III women's golf match on Saturday afternoon at Tekoa Country Club in Westfield, Mass.

Eddy's 105 was good for the low round of the day, including pars on the second and 13th holes.

Westfield's Kerry Greenough tied for second in the individual scoring with Keene's Jodi Mercier.

Keene was playing it's first ever intercollegiate match after adding the program as a varsity sport this year.  The two schools will renew their fledgling rivalry with an October 9 match in Keene, N.H.

Westfield will next be in action at a pair of 18-hole tournaments hosted by the Northeast Women's Golf Conference at McGregor Links in Wilton, N.Y. next Saturday and Sunday.
