WESTFIELD, Mass. – Westfield State junior forward Jordan Grant (Gray, Maine) was named to the New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA) weekly honor roll for her performance this past week, earning NEWBA first-team recognition after the Owls secured a pair of conference victories.

Grant, who was also named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week, averaged 18.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.0 steals, and 1.5 assists over the course of the two games. She is currently fifth in the conference in points per game (16.1 PPG).  

Westfield State (15-9, 8-3 MASCAC) enters their final game of the regular season on a six-game winning streak as the Owls will travel to Fitchburg State for a 2:00 P.M. tipoff. After that, the Owls will enter postseason play beginning next week at the Woodward Center with a date, time, and opponent still to be determined.
