WESTFIELD, Mass. - Westfield State Women's Basketball looks to extend their winning streak to three straight against last-place MCLA on Sunday at the Woodward Center in Westfield, Mass. 

The Owls enter this MASCAC matchup sitting at 10-9 on the season and 4-2 in the conference, while MCLA (0-15) searches for their first victory. 

Westfield's leading scorer Melissa Gray (Peabody, Mass.) returned to the lineup last game with 23 points after missing several due to Covid protocols. Maddie Pond (Holyoke, Mass.) scored 14 points on a perfect 6-6 shooting in the previous matchup against MCLA. 

Junior guard Brooke DiGennaro (Pittsfield, Mass.) leads the Trailblazers in scoring, averaging nearly 14 points per game. Senior's Emily Burke (Vorheesville, NY) and Hannah Mazzeo (Averill Park, NY) average 12 & 10 points respectively. 

This game was originally set for Saturday the 29th but was rescheduled due to the impending snowstorm.
