Scoville evolved into the Owls top starting pitcher in her second season.  9-7 with a 4.17 earned-run average, but appeared to get stronger as the season evolved and was at her best in conference play, where she had a 6-1 record with two saves and a 2.29 ERA.

Westfield got off to a slow start to its season, seeing several days rained out on their Florida trip, which necessitated a four-game closing day of the journey, and started the season 1-9, before rattling off a 15-5 stretch up north before entering the post season.

Westfield finished 10-4 in the league's regular season (18-19 overall) and won a tie- breaker for the third seed in the conference tournament before being upset in the first round of the league playoffs.
