WESTFIELD, Mass. – Westfield State University first-year Carter Hebert (Easthampton, Mass.) was recognized this week as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference men's soccer Rookie of the Week for his performance against Mass Maritime this past weekend.

Hebert was recognized for scoring the equalizing goal and then assisting in the game-winning goal in Saturday's 3-1 win over Mass. Maritime on Saturday. 

In 13 games played, Hebert is second on the team with four goals, and has also contributed two assists for the Owls.

Hebert and the Owls will look to keep the ball rolling Saturday, October 15 when they fly to Swenson Field in Bridgewater, Mass. to compete against the Bridgewater State University Bears.
