WESTFIELD, Mass. – Westfield State senior Josh Sears (East Longmeadow, Mass.) tied for sixth place individually by shooting nine over par as the Owls competed at the Western New England Spring Invite from the Country Club of Wilbraham on Saturday.

Sears shot a score of 80 on the day, just three strokes off the low round.

First-year Ethan Cadorette (Swampscott, Mass.) also placed within the top ten of the event, placing 13 strokes over to finish ninth overall.

As a team, the Owls were third with a combined score of +69. Western New England won the match with a team score of +36.

The Western New England Spring Invitational concluded the Owls 2023 season and will return to action in the fall of 2023.
