Men's Golf Competes at Eastern Connecticut Spring Invitational

Westfield' State's Thomas Onorato and Dominic Terzi each shot 88 to lead the Owls efforts at the Eastern Connectict Spring Invitational men's golf tournament at Ellington Ridge Country Club on Thursday.

The Owls placed fifth as a team at the six-team tournament.

Eastern Connecticut's Ashton Lewis (who also won the Owls' Brett Williamson Invitational in the fall) won the tournament with a score of 73 on the 6,936 yard par 72 course, leading the Warriors to the team title with a score of 332, six strokes better than Salem State.  Westfield finished at 364.

The Owls will wrap up the spring schedule at the Western New England Invitational meet at the Country Club of Wilbraham on Saturday, April 29.
