Men's Golf Starts Spring Season at Skidmore.

Ethan Cadorette shot the low round of the weekend for the Owls with a 79 on day 2 of the Dr. Tim Brown Invitational Tournament hosted by Skidmore College at the Ballston Spa Country Club on Saturday and Sunday.

Cadorette was the low man for the Owls with a two-day score of 80-79-159, as the Owls finished 18 of the 19 competing teams in their spring debut meet.  Cadorette finished in a tie for 86th in the 108 player field.   Josh Sears was next in for the Owls at 87-84-171 in a tie for 98th.    

Newcomers Dom Terzi and Thomas Onorato rounded out Westfield's lineup.

Trinity College took home the tournament title with a two-day total of 564, five strokes better than Husson University in a strong field of regionally competitive teams.  Trinity had three players under par on Sunday, highlighted by tournament champion Nicholas Li's five-under 66.   Westfield finished with a team total of 681.

The course played as a 6,310 yards, par 71.   The tournament is named after Skidmore's longtime athletic director and golf coach.

Westfield will next play on Thursday at the Eastern Connecticut State Spring Invitational at Ellington Ridge Country Club in Ellington, Conn. on Thursday.
