GROTON, Conn. –  Westfield State seniors Brandon Smith (Feeding Hills, Mass.) and Kyle DelSignore (Attleboro, Mass.) both finished in the top four individually as the Owls placed third across the two-day slate at the MASCAC Tournament from Shennecossett Golf Course in Groton, Connecticut on Monday afternoon. After an opening round of 75, Smith shot a 78 on day two to wrap up the tournament finishing third overall at a score of 153.

DelSignore posted a strong Monday scorecard, tying for the second lowest score of the day with a two-over 73 to climb into fourth place in the individual rankings at thirteen over par.

Westfield State finished the two-day tournament at +79, placing third behind team-champion Salem State (+60) and runner-up Springfield College (+64).
