Senior Kyle DelSignore shot an 8-over par 80 to place eighth individually to lead the Westfield State men's golf team at the Rich Korzec Memoral tournament hosted by Worcester State at Blackstone National Golf Club in Sutton, Mass., on Wednesday afternoon.

Westfield finished third among the six competing teams.  Babson College won the match with a team score of 307, followed by Salem State at 324 with the Owls at 332.  

DelSignore made nine pars on the day, his lone birdie coming on the par 5 18th hole.

Owls senior J.J. Newcombe and junior Brandon Smith finished as part of a 4-way tie for fourth at 83.

The Owls will wrap up the 2022 season at the Rose City Invitational in Norwich, Conn. on Sunday, May 1.
