WESTFIELD, Mass. - Westfield State University's men's golf placed fourth at the Elms College Blazer Invitational at the Hickory Ridge Country Club in Amherst, Mass. on Sunday and the Orchards Golf Club in South Hadley, Mass. on Monday.
Freshman Matteo Godek (Feeding Hills, Mass. / Agawam) led Westfield's performance, as he tied for third place with a two-day score of 75-72-147. Senior Mike Sarkis (East Longmeadow, Mass.) tied for 22nd with a two-day total of 77-79-156.
Babson College won the 16-team tournament with a two-day score of 294-304-598. Westfield finished with a two-day total of 304-315-619.
