Westfield State finished third at the Rich Korzec Memorial Invitational Tournament at the Blackstone Golf Club in Sutton, Mass. on Tuesday.
The Owls were led by senior Mike Sarkis' 76, which tied for fifth among individuals. Sarkis has plenty of experience on the Blackstone course, the loop where he won the MASCAC individual title a year ago.
Corey Vaillancourt was next in for the Owls with an 83 in 18th place.
Westfield will compete at the Johnson and Wales Wildcat Invitational at the Alpine Country Club in Cranston, R.I. this weekend, before returning home to host the Westfield State Spring Invitational at Tekoa Country Club on Tuesday.
