WESTFIELD, MA-Westfield State University's men's golf team came in 11^th place this weekend at the Johnson and Wales Wildcat Invitational at Alpine Country Club in Cranston, R.I. on Saturday and Sunday.

The Owls were led by sophomore Garrett Desmond (Beverly, Ma) and sophomore Ryan Koczela (Bridgewater, Ma) who both finished tied for 21^st place.

On day one, Desmond came out strong with a 76 and then would follow it up with an 82 on day two for a total score of 158.

Koczela posted a score of 78 on the first day and then an 80 on the second day for a 158 as well.

The Owls will host the Westfield State Spring Invitational at Tekoa Country Club in Westfield on Tuesday, April 24^th.
