Title: Assistant Coach

Courtney Williams begins her second season as assistant coach of the Westfield State University field hockey team. 
 
Williams is a USA Level I accredited coach, working with USA Field Hockey Futures program since 2010. She has coached for several different field hockey clubs including Nomads Field Hockey Club, Element Athletics, and currently coaches HTC Field Hockey Club. Her knowledge of defensive strategies and tactics will continue to be an asset to the program.
 
Williams is a 2014 graduate of American International College in Springfield, Mass., where she participated in two NE-10 championship tournaments and two NCAA regional matches. Williams started in all 79 games in her four years at AIC, contributing to the Yellow Jackets’ program NCAA DII top 10 ranking. Named to the National Division II All-Rookie team in her first collegiate season of play, Williams went on to serve as a captain, earn the NFHCA Scholar of Distinction award, and played in the 2013 NFHCA Senior All-Star Game.
 
Williams is a Westfield native, attending Westfield High School, where she served as a captain and defensive MVP her senior year.  She completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at American International College in May of 2016.
