Danielle Imprescia enters her sixth season as the head coach of the Westfield State coed competition cheer squad in 2018-19.
 
Imprescia also will serve as coach of the Westfield State football and basketball cheerleaders. She is a 2006 Westfield State graduate and was a four-year member of the Owls’ competition cheer squad.
 
Imprescia was named the head coach at the start of the 2013-14 academic year; she replaced Lisa Moskow, who had been the head coach for 18 years.
 
“I am very excited about the opportunity to coach at my alma mater,” said Imprescia. “Lisa was my coach at Westfield and she has been a great mentor for me.”
 
Imprescia has been a New England instructor for the University Cheerleaders Association for the past 11 summers. She also coached the Sparks All-Stars of Stoughton, Mass., from 2006-2009.
 
Imprescia is employed full-time as a kids club director at Morningside Community School in Pittsfield for Berksire Children and Familes.
 
She received a bachelor of arts degree in English from Westfield State and a master’s of education, K-2 students with or without disabilities, from Lesley University in 2010.
