WESTFIELD, Mass. - Westfield State baseball jumped up to fifth in New England in the final NEIBA Coaches poll of the 2018 season.

The Owls 24-16-1 finished in a tie for fifth with Amherst College.

UMass Boston led the poll, followed by Babson, Western New England, and Southern Maine.

Of the teams ranked in the top six, all but Endicott have all qualified to play in the NCAA Championships tournament that begins at regional sites this weekend.
