Attention all Westfield State student-athletes!   Athlete registration is now open for fall, winter and spring sport athletes fior the 2023-24 seasons.

Please note that some of the registration and physical/athletic training deadlines are much earlier than in previous years, in order to comply with new NCAA rules regarding length of playing seasons and practice opportunities.

If you plan to play or try-out for a sport at Westfield, go to WestfieldStateOwls.com > Student Athletes > Varsity Athlete Registration 2023-24 and follow the checklist for required forms and procedures.   

Your timely completion of these requirements will help ensure that you are ready to practice and play when preseason opens.

For fall sport athletes, football registration is due by Tuesday, July 11, 2023;  all other fall sports (men's and women's soccer, field hockey, volleyball, men's and women's cross country, men's and women's golf) are due Friday, July 21.

Winter and spring sport athletes (baseball, softball, women's lacrosse, indoor/outdoor track and field, women's swimming and diving, men's and women's basketball and men's ice hockey) must complete the requirements by Friday, August 11.
