Playing all four positions, including goalie, Hatstat still ranks sixth the Owls’ all-time soccer scoring list with 77 points (34 goals, 9 assists). She is fifth in career goals.

Hatstat had a stellar track and field season in 1991, finishing fifth in the javelin at the NCAA Division III national championships, and winning the ECAC Division III and Mass. State Conference championships. Despite her diminutive size, she set a school record with a throw of 132-9.

In 1990, she placed second in the javelin in the New England Division III championships and fifth in the ECAC finals.

At Nashoba Regional High School in Bolton, Mass., Hatstat was a state high school champion and New England runner-up in the javelin. The Lancaster, Mass., native was a two-time All-State and All-New England selection in soccer, and a three-time team MVP and career scoring leader as a basketball point guard.

Hatstat recently moved from Portland, Oregon, to Asheville, N.C., where she owns Black Lab Landscaping, an organic and earth friendly residential company.
