Athletics Hall of Fame Nomination Guidelines

Nomination into the Westfield State University Athletics Hall of Fame shall consist of two categories:

(1) athletes;

(2) coaches, faculty, staff, administrators or friends/contributors to Westfield State University.

The nomination will be considered with respect to the following criteria in each of two above categories:

1. Athletes

a. Graduate of Westfield State College/University

b. Alumnus/alumna for a minimum of 10 years

2. Non-athletes (coaches, faculty, staff and administrators who no longer work at Westfield State, or friends/contributors to Westfield State athletics)

a. Capacity of individual

b. Years of service

c. Contributions of note

d. Leadership

Nominees will be evaluated on the following criteria:

1. Playing ability

2. Integrity

3. Sportsmanship

4. Character contributions

5. Honors or recognition

6. Achievements
