Westfield State University freshman Grace Phair (Stockbridge, Mass./Monument Mountain HS) added Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Runner of the Week accolades to her resume after winning the MASCAC title this past weekend at Moore State Park.

By virtue of winning the individual title, Phair is named the MASCAC Runner of the Year, and by also being the top-finisher among first-year collegiate athletes, earns the league's Rookie of the Year honor as well.

Phair traversed the 3.1 mile women's course in a time of 19:10 on the hilly course.

For Phair, it's her sixth time being honored as the circuit's rookie of the week.

Westfield sophomore Amy O'Sullivan (Greenfield, Mass.) and senior Andrea Noland (Kingston, Mass./Silver Lake) both joined Phair on the all-conference team (and this week's weekly honor roll).   O'Sullivan placed third in 19;24 to earn All-Conference honors for the second straight year, while Noland crossed the line sixth in 20:30.  For Noland it was a fourth straight All-Conference appearance.
