WESTFIELD, Mass. - Westfield State junior Lauren Gilderdale (Great Barrington, Mass.) and freshman Amy O'Sullivan (Greenfield, Mass.) were awarded the MASCAC Women's Field Athlete of the Week and Rookie of the Week honors, respectively, as announced by the conference earlier this afternoon.

Gilderdale finished eighth in the hammer throw with a top toss of 49.29 m (161' 08") at the NEICAAA championships to earn all-New England honors.

O'Sullivan placed 13th in the 10,000 meters at the NEICAAA championships with a season-best time of 39:14.71.
