NEISDA Names Johnstone, Kelly and Sartoris to All-New England Team

Westfield, Mass. – Westfield State recently had three swimmers named to the 2020 All- New England Team, based on their results from The New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Association Championships, held February 13-16, 2020 at The University of Rhode Island.

NEISDA named Kelsey Johnstone (Southwick / Westfield), Kait Kelly (Hamden, Mass.) and Sarah Sartoris (East Hartford, Conn. / South Windsor) to the 2020 All- New England Team.

This honor requires each swimmer to be a top eight individual or a top four relay placement.  Johnstone came in first in both the 100 yard breaststroke and 200 yard breaststroke. Kelly was eighth in both the 50 yard backstroke and 100 yard backstroke. Sartoris was eighth in the 200 yard backstroke. 

The New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Association also announced the 2020 All-Sportsmanship Team. Carly Thibodeau (Mendon / Nipmuc Regional High School) was named for her excellence in sportsmanship both on the Westfield campus and in competition.
