Following on the heels of a successful weekend at the New England Intercolleagiate Swimming and Diving association championships, Westfield State senior Kelsey Johnstone (Southwick, Mass./Westfield) was named the Little East Conference Swimmer of the Week for the third time this season.

She stood atop the podium with gold medal-winning times of 1:07.13 in the 100 breaststroke and a time of 2:26.66 in the 200 breaststroke at the NEISDA Championships. She was the lone LEC competitor to win multiple events at the meet.

Johnstone also set a school record with her time in the 200 freestyle.
