CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- Monique Groux (Agawam, Mass.) capped off a perfect weekend by winning the three meter diving event on Sunday, as the Owls finished sixth as a team at the NEISDA Division III Championships.

Groux, who placed first in the one meter diving event on Saturday, won another close competition on Sunday with a seven point victory over Plymouth's Casey Allaire. Her performance over the weekend earned her the NEISDA Diver of the Meet and NEISDA Senior High Point Diver awards.

Senior Shannon Fitzsimmons broke her own school record in the 200 yd. butterfly by just under two seconds, recording a time of 2:17.92 and finishing in fifth in the event.

Junior Kelsey Johnstone (Westfield, Southwick, Mass.), who broke two school records in the 200 yd. IM and the 100 yd. breastroke earlier in the weekend, finished second in the 200 yd. breastroke on Sunday. It has also just been confirmed that Johnstone broke the 50 yd. breastroke school record within her 100 yd. breastroke trials with a split time of 30.77, just sneaking past Kirsten LaMotte's time of 31.08.
