    Men’s track and field senior multi-event athlete William Canty (South Grafton, Mass.) and soccer midfielder Bella Eduardo (Springfield, Mass./Chicopee HS) have been as the 2020 Coach John Kurty Award recipients, as a part of the Westfield State University spring student-athlete awards.
  • Kinsman Named MASCAC Player of the Year; Rennich, Remington First-Team Picks

    Westfield State junior midfielder Lydia Kinsman (Granville, Mass./Southwick, Mass.) was named the 2019 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference women’s soccer offensive player of the year, the league announced on Wednesday. Kinsman was one of three first-team All-Conference picks for the Owls, as she was joined by sophomore forward Jenn Rennich (Bedford, Mass.) and senior back Morgan Remington (Enfield Conn.).

    WESTFIELD, Mass. – Alana Vincent’s (Taunton, Mass.) goal in the 108th minute gave #4 seeded Bridgewater State a 1-0 upset win over top-seeded Westfield State in the semifinals of the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference tournament at Alumni Field on Friday night.
