WESTFIELD, Mass.  – Westfield State University freshman Jenn Rennich (Bedford, Mass.) was named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference women's soccer rookie of the week this past Monday.

Rennich tallied three goals and an assist in a 2-0 week for the Owls. She scored the only goal in a 1-0 win over Elms College and added two goals and an assist in a 9-1 win at Massachusetts Maritime. Rennich leads the team with goals (4), assists (4) and points (12).

Rennich's Owls will host local rival Western New England University at Alumni Field on Thursday with kickoff scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
