WARWICK, R.I. -- Westfield State women's golf finished 2nd of two teams at the Rhode Island College Invitational tournament at the Valley Country Club Golf Course on Saturday.

The Owls were led by sophomore Makenze Felty, who finished in second, posting a 96 (+24).

Johnson and Wales won the team title with a score of 386 and the Owls finished right behind shooting a 487 as a team.

Alexis Anastos of Johnson and Wales ran away with the idividual title, beating out Felti by nine strokes and finishing with an 87 (+15). 

The Owls will be back in action next weekend for the Northeast Women's Golf Conference Championship.
